Some like it hot. 8.29K in the bridge PAF and 8.44K in the neck PAF. 59 ES-355's are always tough to find and the ones with the big neck profile are almost impossible since they started slimming them down much earlier in 59 than the other ES models. This is the stereo version but has been converted to mono (still has the Varitone and original harness). Big 59 neck profile and nice ebony board and frets. Gorgeous watermelon red color that has just faded enough. PAFs have been opened (but never rewound) and had nickel covers but it now has correct gold PAF covers which I salvaged from a 59 355 I parted out a while ago. Bridge PAF is a "short leg" which were only used on very early stereo Varitone 345's and 355's. The only real issue here is that the guitar no longer has its original gold Bigsby. It has been replaced with a vintage aluminum one but I'm looking for a gold one for it to complete it. Everything else is either original or correct. Nice original brown 5 latch Gibson badged case missing one latch.

All buyers are given a 48 hour period to try the guitar, inspect the guitar and decide whether to keep the guitar. Buyer will be responsible for the shipping in both directions should you decide to return it. You may return a guitar for any reason at all but only for the first 48 hours. No returns after the approval period has expired. Payment in full is required at time of purchase and guitars will not be shipped until funds have cleared.
