Up for sale is my 1955 Les Paul Junior.
As far as I can tell it is all original but I suspect it has had a re-fret at some point in its life which would be expected on a guitar that is nearing its 60th year.
The guitar has a really nice feel to it and is very light. The overall condition of the guitar is good for its age. It has all the usual dings and scratches you would expect a guitar that has been played (both on body and neck). It has definitely not been kept in a closet by a collector. The jack plate has a crack in it but is still solid. I suspect it may need to be replaced in due course. The only other notable mark is a slit (pictured) between the bottom fo the tailpiece and the pickup. This is a cosmetic issue only and does not affect playability or tone. The guitar comes with a non-original later hard case.
The guitar was purchased from New Kings Road Guitars a few months ago but as lovely as it is I am having to sell it to fund another purchase.
Due to its value, the guitar will need to be picked up from my flat in Central London as I simply do not want to damage it.
