Vintage & Rare was founded in 2008 by Nicolai Schneekloth, a dedicated guitar player for over 25 years, who has a great passion for music, custom-built instruments and luthering. The idea behind Vintage & Rare stems from his passion, and with Vintage & Rare, Nicolai is committed to gathering the world's best retailers and builders of fine musical instruments on one platform.
Throughout the years, Nicolai has worked with a lot of great producers, and has played with a lot of great musicians and bands - such as Die Dumme Dänen (Sony/BMG), Den Sorte Boks (Sony/BMG) and Camden (Sfære Records/RMV Music). While touring, Nicolai realized that he would have appreciated a single internet resource where he could search for and find the best unique instruments. This is how he came up with the idea for Vintage & Rare.
