Alain Raifort has a dilemma : he is torn between the calm of a workshop in the country and the privileged relationships which can be established in a shop, if only when adjusting an instrument.If the sound, structure, aesthetics and choice of woods are the parameters of his craft, rhythm and delays are the difficulties.

The first listens to the sounds whereas the second assembles them to make music. More than complementary, they are inseparable. "


Alain Raifort makes mainly concert classical guitars and a few steel string guitars.He maintains a rhythm of about ten instruments a year.He employs one person part-time to free him from basic tasks such as repairs and adjusting.He sells and rents study guitars to students in music schools.He adjusts all types of guitars (classical, folk, electric, bass), and does all types of repairs, from basic to the most complex jobs.
