About: Chuck Morrison has been building musical instruments since 1974 and was the originator of the Flatiron Mandolin, a copy of his grandfather’s Gibson Army/Navy mandolin, which he built for a short time beginning in 1976. Throughout his career in Lutherie he has maintained an interest in all forms of acoustic guitar and the physics of sound as it relates to acoustic guitars. C.F.
