About: My fully equipped guitar repair workshop is in the Ouseburn Valley area of Newcastle upon Tyne, a few minutes walk from the Cluny and Cumberland Arms. I offer a full range of guitar repair and making services from a truss rod tweak to a custom designed instrument. I am John Xavier Gill, a qualified luthier with over 15 years experience. My qualifications include: National Diploma in Musical Instrument Technology from Leeds College of Music Higher National Diploma in Musical Instrument Technology from Leeds Metropolitan University. Electric & acoustic guitars and basses repaired, modified and custom made. I specialise in electric guitars and fret work. Custom designed hand made instruments from £600 By appointment only.
