I developed techniques by my own research and also by examining the guitars of historical manufacturers, such as Antonio de Torres.
My guitars embody an original approach. They are based on the classical tradition, however, they blend historical construction techniques not only with personalized forms, but also with modifications and technical details aimed at refining their tonal quality.
My instruments are appreciated in particular, for their clear open sound, the balance between the low and high registers, their lightness and manageability. The specific colours and subtleties of sound, depend upon the materials employed in their construction.
Construction
My instruments, beginning with raw wood, are entirely hand made.
I only utilize fine quality woods with excellent acoustic characteristics, slowly aged by natural methods and carefully chosen for their ability to offer the best sonorous qualities.
In order to maintain their innate qualities the woods, as well as the finished instruments are kept at a controlled temperature and level of humidity. The instruments are finished by hand, in shellac or resin, utilizing traditional french polish techniques.
Each individual instrument is carefully developed and tested until it reaches its final form.
On account of the fact that the instruments are entirely hand made, it is therefore possible to offer any kind of personalization to meet the individual tastes and requirements of the musician.
