OTENTIC IFIE-A- SIGNATURE "the Green" IFIE -A- started touring with UK’s Apache Indian in 1999 followed by playing with major Dutch top acts like: Robert Lee (2001), Postmen (2003), Postman (2004), Beef (2005) and Mr. Z (2007). With these artists he recorded several albums.

Since January 2009 he is touring with Holland’s ‘Silver Harp’ award winner Ziggi Recado, one of the biggest European reggae acts at the moment and the first European reggae act ever signed to VP/Greensleeves Records; world’s largest reggae label. He toured in Europe and also in USA, Asia and Africa! Festivals like Lowlands (NL), Pinkpop (NL), Rockwerchter (BE), DourFestival (BE), Sziget (HU), Glastonbury (UK), Festineuch (SE), GamboaFestival (CV), ReggaeSunSplash (USA), ParkPop (NL), Summerjam (DE), Couleur Festival (BE), HardRockCafe (UAE), Noorderslag (NL), IlosaariRock (FI), RockAmring (DE), Rototom (ES), Reggae On the River (USA), Paaspop (NL), Isle of MTV (ES), PuckelPop (BE), TMF-Awards (NL), RebelSalute (JAM), ZwarteCross (NL), ReggaeJam (DE), Uppsala (SE), Zwarte Cross (NL), Roskilde (DK), Pitchfork (USA), OktoberFest (DE), RedBullFest (PT), ReggaeGeel (BE) and Huntenpop (NL).

In the past 10 years he has been traveling around the globe and visited most continents. With Ziggi Recado he toured in France, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Romania, Senegal and Switzerland. IFIE –A- played on studio sessions for: Postmen, Ziggi Recado, Anouk, Shy Rock, Maikal X, The Wailers, Beef, Postman, U-niq, Mendez Brothers, Replay, Robert Lee, Apache Indian, Alie Cambel, Code Of Mighty Men, Klaye, Patrick Grayham, Enlery Mayfield, Fluitsma & Van Tijn, RTL Group and Ro Theater. Sound, style and performance are the things that IFIE -A- is known for.

This made Otentic's Rene Meulmeester, founder and owner of Otentic Guitars, decide to make him his own ‘signature model’. Together they developed a high quality guitar for serious players, made out of the best wood, hardware and electronics. The Otentic Ifie-A- signature guitar "the GREEN" will be available from April 2011.
