Our company

Forsyth Brothers Ltd. has been a leading specialist music retailer for over 150 years.  We provide a range of services and products relating to all aspects of music and music appreciation.  This includes CDs and DVDs, Sheet Music and Books on Music, Pianos, Guitars and Orchestral Instruments. In addition to retail, we also operate a music publishing and distribution service and a piano tuning, hire and repair service that operates throughout the North West of England and beyond.

Our staff are highly experienced, both in terms of retail and musical experience generally.  We are all musicians or music lovers on the staff and this passion and commitment is present in everything we do.  We are fortunate to have a variety of highly qualified performers, teachers, scholars and technicians throughout the store.

Regarding Online Purchases

 

Exchanges and Refunds

In the unlikely event that you find the item you purchase faulty simply return it to us by Registered or Recorded delivery within 14 days for exchange. Forsyth can not accept liability for any item lost in the post.

Refunds will only be made if the item is in its original condition. A Faulty item will immediately be replaced.

Pricing

Whilst all product prices and descriptions are checked to confirm accuracy errors may occur. Prices may be subject to revision. Special Offers and Sale items are available for a limited period only. Prices quoted on the ecommerce part of this site are not necessarily available in the Manchester store.

We are only able to offer online calculation of shipping costs for orders of up to 5kg for sheet music and books, and 2kg for all other products to destinations outside the United Kingdom mainland.
