About:

For more than 30 years, Pittsburgh Guitars has been the place where people from the tri-state area (and all over the world - we ship instruments) shop for new and used electric guitars, acoustic guitars, banjos, mandolin, ukes, amplifiers and accessories. We sell quality used gear and are dealers for top names like Fender, Yamaha, Gretsch, Martin, Rickenbacker, Vox, Boss, Electro Harmonix, Deering, Goldtone and more. We offer guitar lessons at our location and Pittsburgh Guitars has a full time on site instrument repair shop. We also repair amplifiers both vintage and new.

Payment: Please call or email to make sure that the instrument you're interested in is still available. For orders within the US, we accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, and PayPal with a confirmed address. No CODs. We do not accept credit cards or PayPal for overseas orders. We pack every instrument we ship safely and securely, and have never had an instrument damaged in shipping. However, we realize that anything is possible. Insurance claims are the responsibility of the customer, but we'll be happy to help you with any claims.

Returns: We provide a 24-hour approval period for every guitar or bass we ship. You will have 24 hours from the receipt of any instrument shipped to you to let us know, via email or phone, that you're sending it back. Please save the packing materials so you can ship it back in the same box. All return shipping and full insurance costs are the customer's responsibility. We will issue a refund for the purchase price of the instrument, minus shipping costs and a 6% restocking fee, once the instrument is returned to us in the condition in which it was shipped.
