The Music Stand is locally owned and operated, full-service music store. It was established in Port Charlotte in 1991. We take pride in out Customer service. We offer on-site repair and maintenance of band instruments, orchestral strings and fretted string instruments.We aim to please!

We offer band rentals, private lessons, instruments and accessories required by players of all abilities.

Private Lessons:

The Music Stand has five teaching studios. We have twoinstructors that are Berklee (MA) graduates, one from Kent State (OH) and the Owner is a graduate of theUniversity of Central Florida. Several or our Instructorshave advanced degrees in music theory and performance.We provide private lessons for

•Violin/Viola

•All Woodwind Instruments

•Brass Instruments

•Drums and PercussionOur sessions are for 30 minutes normally once a week
