/ Luigi Mozzani, Classical Concert, 1950s-1960s, Made In Italy, Very Rare Guitar, OHC, EC / 1950 / Guitar
Luigi Mozzani is a famous name from Italy, a famous composor, guitarplayer, and teacher. One of his students was Mario Maccaferri. On top of that Luigi Mozzani was known for making impressive instruments. Especcially his Harp Guitars are famous worldwide. The construction of instruments stopped somewhere in 1943 when Mozzani died. This instruments, despite the famous name, and all the L. Mozzani stamps, beautiful craftmanship and impressive label, is to our opinion younger, and we cannot date it back to the 1930s with our experience. Its in excellent condition, except for a small stabil crack next to the soundboard. Likely it is made somewhere in the 1960s, also from italian origin, and possibly related to Mozzani somehow, but not made by Mozzani. It features a solid Spruce top, solid east indian rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck, Brazilian rosewood bridge and headstock overlay, rosewood fingerboard, a impressive Marquetery Mosaic Wood rosette, 5 ply binding, (ebony-maple-redwood-maple-ebony) the body is bound with maple. the guitar measures a 650mm scale, 52mm nut. The tone of this instrument is clear, with great balance and maybe considered very expressive. The label reads exclusivly made for CMI. It comes in what we believe is its original case.
The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out.
