Serene is an all purpose booster, if you want it clean, it stays clean with a remarkable headroom, and if you want to add a little dirt there is also a low gain stage. It is designed for the valve amps on the verge of breakup, but it delivers smooth overdrive with a clean channel too. The first generation has a bias pot on the outside, the second generation comes with fixed bias. However, there is a little trimpot in the guts of the pedal where you can tweak the bias for your taste. Where the pedal shines is that it does not alter the sound of your guitar and amp, so the sounds you can achieve are very up to the setup you are playing.

Alen Geere is a small family company. Our products have unique sound & graphical designs. We manufacture analog pedals primarily. We don’t produce clone or “equivalent to other” pedals. We don’t perform mods or upgrades on other products than Alen Geere. All Alen Geere products designed and tested with feedback from professional musicians.
We are not a boutique seller. We are a company just producing in small batches beter than boutique-quality. In this way we reduce the unit cost. We are doing all the production ourselves. Designing, pcb making, machining, painting, screen printing, soldering, assembling, testing, packaging. And this is reflected in our prices.
