This little story was to illustrate how i feel about this guitar and Andy Manson guitars in general. and yes they are that good! Featuring Ancient reclaimed (meaning it was used before for a different purpose) Cuban Mahogany Back and sides, a matured European Spruce top, Matured Honduras Mahogany neck, at least 100 year old reclaimed Indian Rosewood fretboard and bridge, Cocobolo rosewood binding and mirrored headstock facing,  multiple wood Trim, satinwood heel-cap, Endpin-split & Rosette. The headstock construction is particulary nice, with the mirrored cocobolo rosewood overlay with Pearl Andy Manson script logo, beautiful details like the Selmer style soundhole with Satinwood inlay, mahogany 3 piece neck with Rosewood centre-spline. The cutaway is original design for an acoustic guitar that would fit Telecaster & Stratocaster players and allows access to the upper frets.

This guitar is build by a Man that build his first guitar in 1967, and gained great fame among accomplished guitar players. Getting older Andy moved from England to the more inspiring climate of Portugal. Perhaps not all that many reading this advertising heard about Andy Manson and his famous history before, But if you've seen Led Zeppelin, you've seen the 3 neck mandolin guitars, and this is the man that made them back in the seventies. Maybe you have also seen his famous 'Mermaid'?  (video at the bottom of he page!) Believe me he's one of very few truly gifted guitar-making-magicians on this planet and this guitar will speak to you in a better way then my thousand words will ever be able too.

It's a true featherweight powerhouse, very powerful and at the same time transparent, extremely well balanced guitars, one of her best qualities is her incredible tonal refinement with impressive substance and complexity. It is a piano when played finger-style, and won't disappoint you anywhere on the fingerboard, but it also won't hold back when you ask her to play powerhouse Rock & Roll, since it seems to have limitless headroom. Due to the very open structure oil varnish the guitar is very open and crisp. This guitar is made by a magician for a truly gifted or demanding player.
