This model is a model that extracts the old "TranzFormer GT" preamplifier and EQ circuit! API's unique EQ and boost (preamplifier) circuit are realized in a compact effector size. Designed to operate with the size that fits in the pedal board and the standard 9V (~ 18V) power supply. The EQ is three frequencies (200Hz, 1.5kHz, 5kHz), each with a +/- 15dB boost/cut. The gain stage can be switched from "Clean Boost" to "Over Drive" mode. "Clean Boost" gets a very clear volume, and "Over Drive" gets the only "API drive tone" driving input operational amplifiers.
