Armin Weller OM model, Featuring Caviuna rosewood, AAA Grade German spruce Soundboard, ebony fingerboard and bridge, three piece honduran Mahogany-maple-mahogany neck, with Spanish construction heel, Gotoh 510 tuners with Ebony buttons, beautiful grained Caviuna peghead face-plate, wood rosette made of redwood-spruce, Flame maple bound body, 4 ply ebony-maple purfling, moderate C neck profile, very pleasant to hold and Play, the Caviuna rosewood on this guitar was the last and best Mr. Weller –as we used to call him- made, perfectly quarter sawn, old growth and straight-grained Rosewood that has matured for many decades. The guitar is a bit deeper compared to a standard OM-size, and therefore a bit more powerful. It compares very well to a BSG guitar in character, a bit more clear over the whole register in comaparing with a Martin/American style flattop, but intense and powerful, with excellent projection, substance and balance. Suitable for both fingerstyle players, flatpickers and strummers.
Armin Weller maybe considered one of the last German old School masters luthiers. For all the people that don’t know about Armin Weller. Mr. Weller was considered the no#1 luthier before 1989 in former East Germany, like all guitar makers he was connected to Musima , since nobody was allowed to build guitars privately by the strict socialistic Regime. At one point Musima honoured Mr. Weller by making a small edition "Armin Weller" guitars, their top of the line model. After 1989 he started his own workshop in good old Markneukirchen. Markneukirchen has been for many centuries, and perhaps in a way still is- the luthiers centre of the world, but it was also the home-town of Mr. C.F. Martin 1 who moved to New York in 1833.
Armin Weller Guitars are sought after by German collectors. This was one of his last guitars, This guitar is not only of great beauty , but it is tonally impressive, very powerful and responsive , displaying great clarity and superb dynamics, with a very strong percussive and responsive tone, making it a very versatile guitar that is a great strummer also. Features 45mm( 1 ¾”) wdith at the Nut, 650mm(25.5”) scale, 57mm stringspacing at the bridge. Comes with a sold Quality hard-case.

The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
