VOX AC-120 VINTAGE 1974
here we have a Vintage Dallas Vox AC120,one of the heaviest amps i came across !!!,it weighs about 40 kilos,has 2 x 12 Mckenzie original Twin speakers, 120 watts powered by 4 EL34 tubes 4 ECC83 and 2ECC81 Plus 1 ECC82 preamp tubes.
No Rectifier Tube.
this was a hand wired point to point construction.
amp has 2 channels normal and brilliant with their own volume control,next to the extensive tone control there's a 5 band EQ too.nice for shaping your own sound,also of course reverb,and a Distortion which i think is more like a Boost rather then distortion.
amp sounds great the Vox sound !! a great amp but less popular the the AC-30,still a great vintage Vox amp.
