August Knov (= Knopf) F/B ♭ Semi -double French horn. 5 Rotary with A -stopky. Yellow brass one -piece bell. Low brass (no lacquer). 1960s manufactured. No case. It is a product only for the main unit.
[situation]
There is a repairs for re -attaching the bell tube and the first tube (Western white ring tube). There is a history of shallow dents on the outer circumference of the bell torso. The lacquer is not hanging, so dullness is seen, but it is neatly oxidized and no rust or corrosion. The condition is good as a no -lacquer horn of this age. All rotary disassembly, all tube adjustment, and maintained.

A semi -double horn produced by the historical workshop August Knov (the father of Herbert Fritz Knoff). It features an original layout with the NR.13 layout as it is, and a rotary of A -stop quic is arranged on the third rotary side. It is carefully manufactured, such as rotary and each pipes, and clearance. The warm and bright sound is attractive.
