Bernie Rico was far ahead of his time when he was producing these pointy Rock & Roll Legends. His Mockingbird was outlandish & so Heavy Metal. BUT as time went by these hand made beauties have attracted so many collectors such as us at the Guitar Broker. This is one bad boy Mock-Bass made from some very choice Koa & Maple laminations of figured woods. Oddly most are natural finished. This one was ordered in a cool Dark Sunburst finish over the pretty Koa & Maple neck-thru body construction. Its Ebony fingerboard has pretty diamond inlays. Its 2 set’s of DiMarzio P Bass pickups are super powerful & the electronics have been gone thru just recently & working quite well. Its heavy duty Brass Bridge brings this all together. Its been played as it shows a few chips & some play time, but overall she’s still quite excellent in all respects. She comes in a nice hard case.
