B&G / Little Sister Private Built Lemonburst / 2017 / Guitar

Pre-loved B&G Little Sister 2017. The story of the Little Sister began from the puzzling question of how the early delta bluesmen were able to fascinate a listener with only one guitar and their simple, yet soulful vocal lines. Understanding that these players' fat and throaty guitar tones often came from playing small-body parlor guitars, B&G decided to uncover the secret of these instruments and embark on a journey back to the crossroads. While obsessively collecting all sorts of original guitars from the 1920s and ‘30s, many of which were in poor condition and needed complete restoration, they began to create the special design that would best serve the guitar sound they had become hooked on. B&G wanted to create an instrument that would be versatile enough for players who use a pick, and for players who are fingerstylists. It needed to be superior in terms of playability, and it had to be gimmick free; it had to be lightweight, comfortable and unique. Ultimately, they decided that it should be a small-body parlor guitar because these were the instruments that they kept playing again and again. The Little Sister Private Build production is limited to 30 guitars per month, to ensure careful attention to detail and accuracy in every guitar. And if she looks like a jewel, it's because she was designed by jewelry artist David Weizman, who also handcrafted the brass hardware.  Specifications: Model: Sittle Sister Private Build Finish: Lemonburst Body Material: African Mahogany Top Material: Flamed Maple Lefty No Body Details: Faux Maple body bindings Neck Material: Mahogany Neck Profile: Soft V Fingerboard Material: Indian Rosewood Fingerboard Radius: 12” Neck Details: Dot inlays Nutwidth: 43 mm - 1 11/16" Scale Length: 628 mm - 24 3/4" Bridge: B&G Solid Brass Tailpiece: B&G Tailpiece Pickups: B&G Hand-Wound Humbuckers Tuners: Golden Age Restoration tuners Controls: 1 Volume, 1 Tone, 3-way Switch. ABOUT US

I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand. However, because of our high standards you can be confident of ordering online from us. We hope you enjoy your visit to our site, and welcome your feedback.
