BSG D-37-F deluxe, a magnificent dreadnought of great beauty. With amazing wood, It features gorgeous Amazon (Amazoniq) Rosewood back and sides, European spruce top, dark rosewood bound Ebony fingerboard with stylisch abalone shell inlay, Ebony bridge, Dark rosewood bound Body impressive but Abalone shell inlay, rosewood bound slotted Ebony headstock with matching Abalone shell trim and stylish Abalone shell torch inlay, back of the headstock and heelcap capped with matching Amazon rosewood. black and white Soundhole rosette single white abalone shell soundhole ring. Top quality Gotoh 510 tuners. This Dreadnought features a 44.5mm (1 3/4") width at the nut, 650mm (25.5") scale and 57mm (2 1/4") fingerspacing at the bridge and. The wider spacing makes it more suitable for fingerstyle. This is bluegrass monster, a great fingerstyle and flatpicking guitar. BSG guitars by Jan Stovicek are fastly getting world fame. And the amazing tone that holds everything from overwhelming power to subtle brilliance, perfect balance to refined single not dynamics can only be overwhelming on your first experience. Madagascar and Jacaranda are considered closet to the dynamics of Brazilian rosewood, but amazon rosewood is also very close, altough perhaps a bit more crisp, making it more suitable for fingerstyle. Possibly the reason Jan gave it a 58mm stringspacing instead of the normal 56mm.
This is a high end guitar that competes in our shop with the likes of Collings and Lowden to name a few. But the price level is impressive low. Despite the detailed and perfection in craftsmanship and the impressive tonal character, these are well under the 3.500 mark!
