BSG OM-10F custom with many upgrades, like a mahogany top, custom Rosewood Bound ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, upgraded also with beautiful rosewood bound Headstock with custom Abalone Vine inlay and Abalone rosette. Standard features include all solid wood construction, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, Jan Stovicek makes about 175 to 200 guitars a years, and all guitars are fully handmade. We think Jan Stovicek is one of those fine Luthiers that is only known to the inner crowd! His guitars are about the best you can find for relatively little money, fully handmade perfection from a Passionate Luthier. .Equipped with a 44mm (1 3/4") width at the nut and 56mm (2 1/4") mm stringspacing and including Quality Gotoh Tuners.
This OM is a BSG with a somewhat more bluesie character, the basses have a crisp character, the Mahogany top is hand voiced for a full and complex tone, but it's strong and warm also, oh i love mahogany topped guitars, they are rounded and complex, it's equally fine for fingerstyle, picking and strumming, and simply a very versatile guitar with 14 frets to the body with 650mm (25.5") scale length. These guitars are high end guitars that is in our shop tried in the line up next to Martin guitars and others and that's where they belong! But - due to the low Czech pay checks- still at a very attractive price level. Must be said, these guitars are also suitable for alternate tunings and combine tonal qualities of modern Lowden guitars and the more western like 'Martin' guitar. Surprising power and volumn even when touched lightly. Comes with case and includes BTW/VAT/MwST.
