This is a TOTALLY MINT and just about AS NEW original vintage 1965 Baldwin Burns Vibraslim semi guitar in what appears to be Argentine Grey sunburst which has the original, oblong, Baldwin hard shell case and is probaby the finest example of one of these for sale on the planet…!
I know next to nothing about these guitars but I can tell everything looks to be totally original including the finish. The solder is undisturbed and everything looks and smells right as far as I can tell with my research. The serial number falls in the correct range for 1965 and I cannot see a single thing out of place with this very handsome and unique guitar.
All electrics including 3 way switch and the 2 cool sounding classic pickups work great and you do tend to get a sound from this which is quite unlike anything from Gibson or Fender. If you are looking for something a bit different then check out the video below.
I can bearly see a single mark on this guitar anywhere and I have no idea what this guitar has been doing for the last 51 years except sleeping inside it’s wardrobe like case. Wake this beauty up - plug it in, turn it up and give it the life it probably always wanted :-)
Case is also in exceptional condition and is complete with the ‘Baldwin’ logo still on the outside, on a metal plaque.
