I remember when those old B.C. Rich guitars had so many toggle switches and knobs, you needed an NFL playbook just to figure out what they all did. But, they were great guitars and got us all through the 70's and 80's with a lot of mighty fine records and concerts under their belts. This newer Eagle Deluxe has taken a much more streamlined approach, having only a pickup selector switch, one volume and two tone controls and if you think about it, do we really need anything more than that? The growl and aggressiveness of a DiMarzio DP 103 combined with a DP 100 sets the tone for this guitar the minute you crank this axe up. The whole goal is to get plugged in and playing as quickly as possible and this guitar has made this as easy as pie. Solid, great- playing American guitars for under 2 grand are all the rage these days and this Eagle can facilitate any player, from the beginner to the working pro. The neck is nice and full- perfect for Rock but I guess if you play in a Country and Western band, you could show up to practice with this red bird and get more than a few looks (and comments from your rhythm section). This one will arrive with fresh strings, set up, intonated and ready to play, so your work towards fame ad fortune can begin immediately.
