Perhaps one of the most significant guitars of its time, it’s the only one known of its kind & this may have been one of the last & most modern design guitars made by Joseph Bohmann, its dimensions are 1/2” smaller than a current Martin size 0, its Spruce Top is stunning & ultra clean having a beautiful abalone Rosette w/Herringbone trim surrounding it & on its outer border, its got magnificent Brazilian Rosewood on its back & sides & completely covered in a custom Floral design on both back & sides, it also has additional Herringbone around & down its back panel, its split headstock is quite unusual having a very squared off edge design unlike any other produced, its ebony fingerboard has ornate circular patterns & its neck dimensions are super wide & super flat !, its completed by a rare Ivory pyramid bridge w/matching saddle & pins that compliment this very fancy size Masterpiece, its label is also one we have not seen & perhaps his last type used prior to his death, it is crack free & Museum Quality if there ever was one, truly exceptionally clean & comes in a slightly larger period hard case.
