Montreal-based Boucher Guitars have visited us with the request to represent them. They came with a bus-load of guitars and we choose what we thought would be the best two for us. May we Introduce to you the Boucher Studio Goose 000 12 fret to the body, a fully hand-made acoustic guitar, this guitar is upgraded to Madagascar Rosewood back and sides, and every Boucher comes standard with Adirondack spruce for the top, one other custom feature is the K&K Pure mini with 2 channel Pre-amp. Other features include 12-fret 000 body, Mahogany neck with dovetail joint, Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Tusq nut and bone saddle. Adirondack spruce scalloped X-bracing, 650mm (25.5") scale length, 45mm(1 3/4") nut width, 60mm (2 3/8") string spacing at the saddle, soft v style neck, High-gloss nitrocellulose finish, Gold-plated Grover tuners.
This is a mighty fine high end guitar, also very comfortable to play on the couch, since it's not really big, the tone is satisfying in a understatement way of putting it, it's actually magnificent and suitable for much more than finger-style only, the guitar simply got louder retaining a clean and clear the more pressure is put on the strings, the tone stays balanced clear and strong without giving in - typically a Adirondack spruce quality - the dynamics and color of this guitar are truly inspiring and have a certain magic to it, of course the Wood and back and sides - Madagascar Rosewood - is debit to this beautiful tonal colour, since it is known for being the most similar tone-wood to the Brazilian species. Offering many of the same sonic characteristics as brazilian, with similar richness in overtones and kind of reverb quality. Includes Tweed case.
