A reproduction of a treble booster made by Hornby Scuse in the 60s!

Richie Blackmore reproduces a treble booster made by Hornby Scuse used for recordings such as Deep Purple's "in Rock" and "Made in Japan". Like the original, it uses OC44 germanium transistors.
The gain is very high, even a clean tube amplifier can overdrive, and the sound outline and tension increase and the sound image emerges. The matching with a single coil PU guitar that has not large power seems to be good. There is no controller such as VOL on the body, but if you squeeze the guitar Vol, you can control it very naturally with a clean to crunch. This is the custom that has a volume control to a normal model. It is a beautiful product with little feeling of use.

Age: 2010s

Accessories: Box, instruction manual (Japanese/English) (genuine product)
