C. F. Martin & Co / 0-15 Special Order / 1941 / Mahogany / Guitar For Sale
This is a great example of what Martin specialized in…making such fabulous sounding small bodied models of all types. This is a very special small production 0-15 made in 1941, 1 of just a very few 0-15 models that were very special ordered w/a factory tortoise’gard w/a matching tortoise Headstock overlay during 1940 & 1941. Its Mahogany top is quite clean still having its original factory scalloped braces. Its Mahogany back & sides are also crack free & quite clean too. Its 1 piece neck feels very comfy w/its smooth “V” shape, plays great & has a great neck angle. Its original 3-in-line open back tuners are still intact. Its Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard & bridge are still quite nice. Amazingly she still retains her original Frets. If you ever wanted a killer playing & sounding 82 year old “0” size Martin…this is it. She’s excellent overall, crazy rare as hell & comes in a nice generic case.
