C. F. Martin & Co / D-18 / 1948 / Natural Finish / Guitar

This is a real player grade D-18 from the mid-40’s & quite a good user friendly machine. If it could talk as they say would be a fun factor. Its still a great year to be made w/a beautifully worn Sitka Top still sporting her original tortoise’gard & bridge. Its Mahogany neck has a good angle & being this played in you can imagine how great she’ll sound. She’s got some warm & punchy Mahogany on its back & sides. Its been repaired a few times all over as you can see by the photos, she has a very good pickup system w/volume & tone knobs on board the inside of the sound hole w/some old repro gold Kluson tuners to keep her in line. This is not for the mint guy collector but looking for another caretaker to enjoy her for the next round ! She Good overall but sings well & comes in a decent hard case.
