This is a nice player grade D-18 from the mid-50’s & quite a fabulous user friendly machine. If this one could talk as they say would be fun to know its past life on the road. Its still a great year to be made w/a beautifully aged Sitka Top still sporting her original tortoise’gard & bridge. Its Mahogany neck has a good angle & having tons of patina you can imagine how great she’ll sound. She’s got some vibey Mahogany on its back & sides. It has a few repairs on its lower back as you can see by the photos, she has a good pickup system on board the inside of the sound hole, still sporting her original open back Grover tuners to keep her in line. She excellent overall w/a rich color, not very faded as many become over the years & she comes in a decent hard case.
