Instrument Description:
Camco Oaklawn Aristocrat set :Sizes: 20/14, 12/8, 14/14.Shells: 5-ply with Reinforcing rings. Finish: Original Champagne Sparkle.Details: Brought from a collector who had 'moth-balled' this kit from new.These drums are in factory fresh condition, the only non original parts are the heads.The kick drum wrap is clean and bright and both seams are perfect. All the 'turret' lugs are clean and pit free. The T-rods are all clean, straight and bright.The hoops are bright and clean with only small signs of 'pedal rash' and a couple of dings that have not broken the paint's surface.The interior reso coat is bright, clean and un-weathered.Rail mount is in great condition,clean, bright and perfect working order, as the cymbal mount (arm to be sourced). The 12" tom is again in excellent condition. The wrap is bright, scuff free and the seam is tight. The chrome work shows no pitting, and the 'Tall Boy' hoops are clean with no damage and corrosion. The internal muffler is in excellent working order. All tension bolts are original. The drums interior white reso coat is bright and flawless.The 14" floor tom wrap is again bright and tight, with only on small scuff, no longer than an 1" 1/2. The seam is tight, although there appears to be some extra glue present (perhaps from the factory). The badge has a small mark on the white enamelThe muffler works well, and is clean, although the adjuster know has lost some chrome.All leg mounts are working and exceptionally clean, with original legs and rubber feet. Tension bolts are all original.The interior finish is again flawless and original.Heads; The kick has Remo Fibreskyn Ambassador batter and Reso.Toms have Remo Ambassador Coated Batters and Clear ResosWhat We Say:A true collectors kit, in exceptional condition.
