2009 Collings CJ Jumbo sunburst, Serial #15731, Near Mint to Mint condition with a only superficial pickguard playwear. Collings version of the classic slope-shouldered dreadnought that has enjoyed renewed popularity in recent years. While the CJ is similar in width and depth to the traditional dreadnought, it has a distinctly different tone, a powerful percussive bottom end ideal for acoustic blues or other styles that benefit from a more controlled bass response. It's Crispy and loud, with a beautiful dynamic voice, that is unmistakably upper class Collings. No you will not mistake it for a Gibson or any other guitar with slope-shoulder. It generates a power that is unheard, enough to cut through a band, and lead the train. This beautiful guitar features a Sitka Spruce, Indian rosewood back and sides, Sunburst finish, 43.5mm (1 23/32") width at the nut and a 650mm (25.5") scale length, Waverly tuners, tortoise bound body & fretboard & headstock and comes in the deluxe Collings case.
