Collings DS-3A custom, featuring a 12 fret Dreadnought body, Adirondack spruce top, you may consider this a very fine and rare custom made guitar. In General the Collings 12 fret Dreadnought is considered unmatched in tonal quality, a great guitar featuring 12 fret design and a bigger body, where the bridge is positioned differently, resulting in an open, airy tone with smoothness and warmth not typically found in modern, 14-fret dreadnought guitars. The articulation and string seperation is near perfect and a rare quality of these guitars, making it extremely suitable for fingerstyle and picking. This custom is made to our preferences with Tree of life inlay in the bound fingerboard and Flowerpot inlay in the unslotted bound ebony headstock. 45.8mm(1 13/16") width at the nut, 650mm(25.5") scale length, 61mm(2 3/8"). As you can see, we designed this guitar with optimum fingerstyle qualities and it's a Marvelous sounding guitar you fall in love with the minute you play the first tone! I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
