The reason we became Collings dealer is that these Houston, Texas, U.S.A.-made instruments are quality-wise so good that we simply couldn't resist. As the latest addition to the SoCo series, the semi-hollow SoCo 16 LC features high quality laminate construction and a larger 16" body size. Built with vintage tone in mind, the larger single cutaway design and laminate materials provide an even and focused tonal response with added warmth for single-line soloing. But this one is special indeed, more or less based on the Gretsch 6120, but with a shallow body and single cutaway construction, with Flamed Maple Top and a few custom options that look good on her, like the Translucent Orange Finish, Bigsby B7 Vibrato, TV Jones Classic (neck) TV Jones Classic Plus (bridge) pickups, and we all agree, it makes this guitar look very cool. And like with All Collings guitars it's detailed to perfection, and the tone is just top notch & Different. Features include mahogany neck, madagascar rosewood fingerboard, 43.2mm Nut width and 632mm (24 7/8") Scale length. Includes deluxe case.

The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood.
