Crafton / 1952 Rex / 1952 / Guitar

Excellent condition, 8/10, brass tailpiece and tuners, all original parts, Wingtone pickup in the neck position with outputjack with threads on the pickguard, white volume knob, intact pickguard which is uncommon, some dents in the finish on the top but almost nothing on the back, crack in the top seam about 40cm, the binding on the back has had a small repair and since the binding has shrunk the binding has some cracks, diamond inlays in the ebony fingerboard with binding, including original brown hardcase and original receipt from 1952 when it was bought new the first and so far only owner for 973SEK on August 28th, wow!Scale lenght: 24,75 inch / Gibson style.Fretboard radius: Flat.Neck width (nut): ca 43mmIt has 2 or 3 repaired cracks in the top, no open cracks. Back and sides has no cracks. The neck is at an ok angle, string height is good (2,5mm on both sides at the 12th fret) and it plays well. Although there s no room for lowering the string height right now, so it might need at neck reset some time in the future. There s a 1mm gap in the neck joint, feels solid though, doesn t move or feel loose at all. The neck is almost straight, it has a very small relief, less than 1mm at the middle of the fretboard if I press down the first and last fret. Frets are in very good condition, a little bit of fret wear on the first 3 frets, otherwise almost no wear at all. No divots or marks in the fretboard what i can see. The pickup works fine. The volume pot however only works when on max volume, so it s more of a on/off switch than a regular volume knob.
