Dobro / MTR Tulip Resonator / 1977 / Chrome / Guitar

This is a very unusual mid-70’s limited run of a Triolian type Metal body guitar w/a single resonator, its Chrome plated body has beautiful engraved Tulips around the face & on the resonator cover but also across the back of the body, its round neck has a pretty Sunburst finish from the factory w/an engraved serial # on the tip of the headstock starting with “MTR” (maybe “Metal Triolian Resonator” ?), its grover tuners were standard & work great, it has some fading going on all over the body but that certainly could be buffed off at any time, we sold this to its last caretaker over 20 years ago, she’s very rare & sounds incredible, truly excellent overall & comes w/its original black hard case.
