Duesenberg / Duesenberg Starplayer TV-Anniversary Silver Metallic / 2020 / Silver Metallic / Guitar
IN 1995 THE WORLD WAS INTRODUCED TO THE ORIGINAL DUESENBERG STARPLAYER.
Over the years this iconic model has developed into one of the most impactful new lines within the music industry.
Today the Starplayer TV spends countless hours in studios and stages around the world, with legends like Mike Campbell, Joe Walsh, Ron Wood, John Mayer, Bob Dylan, Johnny Depp, Chris Cornell, Dave Stewart and many others placing the Duesenberg Starplayer TV into the history books.
This special edition of the Starplayer TV comes in a stunning Metallic Silver on the top of the instrument. It keeps everything that made the original Starplayer famous but this time we have taken it a step further.
The Duesenberg Split/King Dual-Coil Pickups open up entirely new possibilities for your tone. The innovative coil concept makes both tonal worlds, singlecoil and humbucker, available by the flick of a switch.
Semi-Hollow guitars deliver a unique and open response that cannot be compared to a Solid-Body instrument. Our specialised construction additionally blocks most feedback and keeps you going even on high gain levels.
The Split/King Dual-Coil does not simply split a full-size humbucker to create a singlecoil. Instead, it starts with a real singlecoil pickup and adds a certain type of coil to make it also sound like a humbucker. This is a completely new approach to creating both tonal worlds in a single pickup.
The mode of the Pickups can be individually selected with two heavy-duty switches placed underneath the pickguard. A small elevator mechanism allows you to set the height of the switches the way you prefer them. Always switching the modes? Set them high. Like to keep your preset? Set them low so they are not in the way.
You will find the geometrical three steps in almost every part on our instruments, from the curves on the headstock to the shape of the output jack.
When compared to regular chrome finishes, nickel has a beautiful warm and elegant sheen and ages naturally over time. It's the way things were done before chrome became the standard. If you don't want the hardware on your instrument to age, we recommend regular cleaning.
