I am continually amazed at how ESP can consistently turn out guitars of this quality for under a thousand dollars and this EC-1000T is absolute proof that it doesn't take a 10k chunk of wood to be considered a great guitar.
Plugged in, this one is quite pissy and the EMG Selects have an exquisite growl and snarl. Even tuned to 440, this guitar's got a great "chuka chuka" that we Metalheads love to hear. The finish is flawless, glossy and well-applied. Simply put, it's a wonderfully attractive guitar and I can't find any marks on her. The plastic is still on the three backplates on the rear. Maybe one day, Reverb will include the term "near mint" in their description options. Maybe...
We've set the guitar up to (I've just got to say it) play like butta and the strings are a brand new set of 10s. Both the guitar and case have been detailed to arrive with no surprises, so you'll be ready to go, straight out of the box.
