Happy to present this near-mint all-original 1967 Epiphone Casino, with tremendous-looking first-year cherry finish, which hasn’t faded at all.
The guitar is in amazing condition, and only some minor checking upon close inspection can give it away as a vintage piece! The two P90’s sound lovely. It features a factory Tremotone vibrato, a long neck and a nice medium C shape, very comfy.
The chromed pickup covers and hardware add to that “wow” when you open the included original case with red interior. Folks, these guitars are not only made in Kalamazoo as all the Gibsons from the same era were… but it’s impossible to tell any difference in terms of build qualities. Only the headstock gives it away as an Epi. As mentioned, the build quality is top-notch.
No issues, repairs, oversprays, etc. Some former loving owner wrote his name with a pencil inside one of the cavities, but you have to search for it and can probably erase it (but why would you?).
The hollow body has that gorgeous, distinctive sound of the P90’s in a resonant body such as this. Will allow you to jazz, rock, blues, pop… you name it.
An absolutely gorgeous example, and as clean as they come. How many cherry Casinos do you ever see this clean?
