Epiphone / FT-110 Frontier / 1965 / Sunburst / Guitar
1965 Epiphone FT Frontier - Sunburst incl. black hardshell case
Very nice 1965 Gibson J-45 flat top acoustic guitar in Cherry Sunburst. After Gibson purchased Epiphone in 1957, it began to update a number of older Epiphone acoustic models to be more in line with current Gibson production. The F-110 was one such guitar that was rebranded the F-110 Fronteir in 1958. The F-110 was made with Maple back and sides and seven-ply top binding. The Epiphone guitars where made in the same factory with Gibson instruments. The guitar is in excellent condition for its over 50(!) years and all original. The original frets are still in great shape, the Kluson "Waffle-back" tuners work fine and stay in tune, adjustable factory saddle: As on most Gibson Instruments, 1965 was the last year Epiphone had the wide necks with a comfortable neck-width of 42mm (later models went down to 39mm!). Lightweight, very comfortable to play and absolutely great sounding! Comes in black hardshell case.
