Epiphone / Frontier FT-110 / 2021 / Original / Guitar For Sale

As the name suggests, The Epiphone Frontier formed the vanguard of Gibson’s acoustic aspirations of the late 50s and early 60s.

Following Gibson’s purchase of the venerable New York marque in 1957, Epiphone was utilized as a proving ground for some of Kalamzoo’s more adventurous designs. The Frontier was Gibson’s foray into the Dreadnought market, square shouldered, 25.5” scale, Spruce and Maple construction. No Frontier, no Humminbird or Dove.

This is a stunning example in as new condition. Comes with an Epiphone hardshell case and sounds stunning.

A word from Gibson…

A Rare Epiphone Acoustic, Once Again Made in the USA

Gibson™ manufactured the original Epiphone Frontier in its Kalamazoo factory from 1958 until 1970. Now the FT-110 Frontier is being made in the USA once again, and is proudly handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, by Gibson’s finest acoustic luthiers. Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and solid figured maple back and sides, Indian rosewood fretboard, traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing, gold-plated Gotoh Keystone tuners, the iconic "lariat and cactus" themed pickguard, and a 25.5” scale length for a powerful tone.
