Ernie Ball / Earthwood Guitar / 1972 / Bass

This is one of the rarest basses from any manufacturer to come on to the market, what most guitar collectors nor most Musicman fans don’t remember is the humbling beginnings Ernie Ball had from the early 70’s, its 3 digit ink stamped serial # is still quite visible thru its soundhole, these were quite expensive when new & were made way before the Stingray Bass was on the top 10 hit list, this Earthwood Bass has a spruce top & very colorful Walnut back & sides, its got a maple neck w/an ”E” logo for “Ernie Ball”, the basses were offered in a thinner body, this one being their fattest issue w/the most bass response, they came w/locking tuners & wooden bridges, this one has a D’Armond pickup in its soundhole & an added metal control panel w/volume knob b& input jack on the very bottom side, it needs a new nut & truss rod cover, we are selling it as is for its long term 1st owner, it is excellent overall & comes with itsa original gig bag.
