Ernie Ball / Ernie Ball Musicman Luke II BFR / 2007 / Blue Berry Burst / Guitar For Sale

When it comes to the pantheon of rock and pop music, few names resonate as powerfully as Steve Lukather. With a career that spans decades and includes stints as Toto's lead guitarist and frontman, along with being one of the most sought-after session musicians in LA's fiercely competitive recording scene, Lukather's influence is immeasurable. It’s no surprise, then, that his signature guitar line with Ernie Ball Music Man is nothing short of legendary. This 2007 Ernie Ball Music Man Luke II BFR in BlueBerry Burst is a testament to that collaboration

Featuring an alder body with a mahogany tone block, topped with a bookmatched figured maple top in a stunning Blue Berry Burst finish. This high gloss polyester finish looks fantastic and has been well cared for.

The select maple neck has a gunstock oil and hand-rubbed special wax blend finish, providing a smooth playing experience. Its soft "V" profile ensures comfort, while the East Indian Rosewood fingerboard, with mother of pearl dot markers, adds a touch of elegance. The neck's ergonomic design offers easy access to all 22 low profile, wide frets.

The guitar is equipped with Schaller M6-IND locking tuners and a Music Man® floating vintage tremolo bridge. Notably, the saddle adjustment screws and pickup bushings have been changed to keep the guitar working correctly. The HSS pickup configuration includes an active EMG 85 humbucker at the bridge and two active EMG SLV single coils, controlled by a 5-way selector switch and 25kohm volume and tone pots.

With a scale length of 25-1/2" and a 12" neck radius, the Luke II BFR offers a balanced and comfortable feel. The sculpted 5-bolt neck joint ensures smooth access to higher frets. For added reliability, the guitar features graphite acrylic resin coated body cavities and aluminum lined control covers. A Music Man hardshell case is included for secure transport.

The 2007 Ernie Ball Music Man Luke II BFR in Blue Berry Burst is a high-performance guitar that combines visual appeal, exceptional playability, and versatile tones, making it a worthy choice for any professional guitarist.
