Finish: Emerald Green Sparkle, with chromed hardware. A special PDN finish with a beautiful shimmering texture that combines three different sizes of flakes. The instrument looks absolutely fantastic, especially in sunlight.
Body: Basswood. This wood is often preferred for its excellent resonance properties, particularly for distorted sounds.
Neck: Birdseye Maple. The back of the neck is unpainted, hand-oiled, and waxed for a smooth satin-like feel. Bolt-on neck construction - this allows for quick and precise attack response while retaining a rich and "fat" tone.
Scale: 25.5" (Standard).
Fingerboard: Rosewood.
Frets: 24. High profile, wide.
Nut: 43mm, compensated.
Tuning Machines: Schaller M-6 IND locking tuners, arranged in the compact 4+2 design typical of Music Man guitars.
Bridge: Original Music Man Special Petrucci tremolo, floating.
Pickups: DiMarzio John Petrucci Signature "Crunch Lab" Humbucker (bridge), DiMarzio John Petrucci Signature "LiquiFire" Humbucker (neck). Can be split for ultra-clean single-coil sounds in the middle position.
