Ernie Ball Musicman / Stingray 4 (3EQ) / 2002 / Metallic Blue / Bass
For offer is my 2002 Musicman Stingray Bass 4 in metallic Blue. Now at the end of it's first decade, this guitar is almost in the condition that it was shipped originally!
The neck appears unmarked and plays beautifully, it's Maple fingerboard is unchipped and the frets show very little if any sign of wear.
The body is well finished and I can't find any sign of any scratches anywhere on the guitar. The colour of the lacquer is best seen in the "natural light" photos I've included.
3 ply B/W/B/ scratch plate, and all electrics are fully working and crackle free. At some point in its history somone has added a thumbrest to the scratchplate - I see no reason to remove it as it's actually quite useful!
The Bass is set up with a brand new set of Ernie Ball Strings and action and intonation are spot on.
The strap buttons are Schaller straplocks and I'll include the relevant "strap ends" for the buyer.
The case (as pictured) is a Musicman moulded case, and this in great condition - it's fully functional, all catches work. Basically the case has done what it's meant to do and protected the guitar well - and it will continue to do so for years yet!
