Faith / Mercury Classic Burst / Guitar

Sweet little beauty This Mercury is a traditional short-scale parlour model. With the neck joining the body at the 12th fret - rather than the 14th - the strings are held at a slightly lower tension than on regular models. Another implication of the 12th fret join is that the bridge is shifted further from the sound hole.  These features result in a guitar that is physically easier to play, sounds much bigger than you would imagine and is also simple to handle and transport.   Merk: Faith Model: 12th fret, Parlor Condition: Brand New DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATION Top Wood Solid Red Cedar Back Wood Solid Mahogany (Deep Satin) Side Wood Solid Mahogany (Deep Satin) Binding Solid Rosewood Bracing Material Hand-Scalloped Quarter-Sawn Spruce Bracing Pattern Patrick James Eggle X-Brace Design Rosette 5mm Abalone with Fibre Border Neck Mahogany Neck Finish Satin Neck Joint Patrick James Eggle Bolt-On Design – 12 Fret to body Fingerboard Mcassan Figured Ebony Fingerboard Radius 16″ Fingerboard Inlays Mother of Pearl ‘F’ at 12th Fret Machine Head Grover Rotomatic Gold Trussrod 2 Way Nut / Saddle TUSQ (PQ-6116)/(PQ-9110) Nut Width Nut 43mm or 45mm (see specific model) Bridge Macassan Figured Ebony Bridge Pins Indian Ebony with Abalone Dots Finish Type PU Lacquer Hi-Gloss all over Hardcase Included DIMENSIONS Upper bout 240mm Lower bout 340mm Depth at neck 96mm Depth at base 110mm Body Length 500mm Soundhole Diameter 100mm Scale Length 610mm Fingerboard Radius 16 inch

Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned professional, we believe that we can expand your horizon as a guitar player.

It all started with the idea of one day building the perfect guitar store; a player’s paradise, filled with great guitars, amps, and like minded people who you could jam and explore different sounds with.

With this idea as the blueprint for Kauffmann’s, we started our store in 2010, which gave us the opportunity to share over 20 years of experience, knowledge, and advice with otherswho share our passion. Today, Kauffmann’s has become a place where we help players at any level discover the best possible guitars in every budget category, do in-house repairs, build our own guitars, share stories, jam, and hang out with those that come to visit us.

The many years of building our own custom guitars and touring as professional musicians have given us the expertise to confidently select guitars with the best quality to price ratio.

We look past big brand names and ‘easy sells’ in order to make sure that we offer our customers the best guitar for them. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned professional, we believe that we can expand your horizon as a guitar player.
