Fasan / Ca 1950s Archtop / 1950 / Guitar

Good condition, 6,5/10, all laminated construction, slight fret wear, 5 band inlays in the rosewood fingerboard, missing pickguard, white/black/white celluloid headstock overlay, 2 replaced tuner buttons, including brown softshell case with missing handle and blue lining, from online: Fasan was the brandname for Franz Sandner s small workshop in his business just after the war in 1946. in the UK and then in a small town near Frankfurt, (western) Germany. Franz was a learned Luthier, and spent a great deal of his young years in England and was influenced there. His guitars looks like well known brands like Framus and Hofner guitar, and although Franz Sandner made guitars of many qualities. they all have a warm mellow tone.
