Favino / Petite Bouche / 1984 / Guitar
1984 Original Favino petite bouche Guitar, Spruce - Brazilian, No. #916, OHC, EC
Labelled Jacques Favino, 1984, likely a collaboration between father Jacques and son Jean Pierre as Father stopped making guitars around 1979, The guitar is beautiful from every angle and has everything you want in a Favino, attack, punch, clearness and brightness, all the characteristics you are looking for in a typical Favino. And more, with the 'bark' you want in a gypsy guitar, and the crispness of an matured instrument. It has a nice dry tone with a very strong fundamental punch, and certainly no overtones, or sympathetic ringing that should be avoided when buying a Gypsy guitar. The vintage Favino is much clearer...and has just loads of mojo and character. This guitar currently has medium low action and is strung with Argentine light gauge strings. It plays like a dream, and doesn't buzz in anyway. The top has a cedar like look, but is most certainly not cedar but beautifully aged Spruce. The back is one of the most impressing laminated Brazilians I have ever seen on a Favino. Frets and fingerboard are in excellent condition, there are no cracks in the guitar, only some obvious wear and tear. Original (rare) Hardshell case is included . This guitar has got it all, Mojo not only by its Looks but also by Tone and Presence. It would be fulfilling every expectation you might have of that Perfect Gypsy Guitar. For your reference. A new JP Favino starts approx. at 7500Euro. This Original model (no longer made) would probably cost a bit more, but consider It would not be able to compete this matured and broken in guitar

The Fellowship Of Acoustics, Netherlands
ABOUT US
I have always been opposed to being trapped into a job eight hours a day to purchase the free time to do what I enjoy. That’s why i started the Fellowship of Acoustics. The fellowship of acoustics was founded by Rudi Bults, Guitarist and obsessed with tone and wood. The idea was offering real expertise when trading and selling the finest instruments in the world from our showroom in Bergentheim, Netherlands. Helping others find the right tools and enjoying an atmosphere that’s unhurried, honest and informative that’s my go. We are nothing like the "supermarket" style music stores, but specialize in string-things only. We are widely known for Flattop guitars but also sell electric, mandolins & banjo’s, amps, parts, and accessories. Our store has earned the reputation for being a great place to shop for the best products and service.
It is our hope that this new website - much more than a list of "gear" for sale - will serve as an example of our commitment to offering a more personal approach, a friendly atmosphere, and an ultimately more satisfying experience for our friends and customers.
If you have any questions just dial +31-523-232205 or e-mail info@thefellowshipofacoustics.com My name is Rudi Bults, and I’m always here to help out. Wherever possible, we would recommend that you visit our store and experience our instruments and service first hand.
