Very Good condition, 7/10, pencil neck date 4/59, maple neck, refinished alder body (with original pencil markings in the cavities MB and 2/59) and Lindy Fralin has rewound the pickups with the original bobbins, when we go through the details of this instrument we observe that a few screws have been replaced but all the parts are correct, the volume pot is new (from 2011) but the pot code on the original pot in the case is 304901 (1st week of 1959) and the 2 tone pots in the guitar also have the same date, correct second generation CRL1452 switchcraft 3-way switch with brown center wheel and flat sides and 3 patent numbers (as used by Fender circa 1953-1962), the neck still has the original finish and logo, recently refretted with stainless steel frets and PLEK-serviced by Guitarlabs in Sweden and when the work was done the nut was replaced but the original is still in the case, the guitar came to Sweden from the States through a well known Swedish dealer in 1996/1997, the guitar was originally sold as new by the music store Osiecki Brothers in Pennsylvania and the story goes that this store also handled the refinish and rewind of the pickups for a customer during the early 1990 s, including original brown tolex hardcase with a plaque with the stores name
