Excellent condition, including original Swedish Jarnacase, lightning strikes twice! In 2 weeks we have unearthed 2 vintage Strats without any modifications, and this one is incredible! Straight from the first owner, has been in its case since 1975, comes with case candy such as bridge cover, original black leather strap and a set of Fender Mastersound strings, neck stamp 2JUN63, body date 6/63, staggered pole pieces, original factory neck shim in the neck pocket, original single line Kluson Deluxe tuners, pots date 3046324, underside of aluminium shield has been signed by Mell (right now we also have a 1960 Strat with the same signature), this guitar comes from the original owner and was bought new in 1963, then used for a couple of years in a popular popband called the Clifftones, the with Five Guys 1965-67 and with Tonettes 1967-1968 and after this the foreman at the workplace asked the guitar player to choose between music or work so he had to quit the band, and after 1975 it has been in its case, when it came to us the switch was stuck but we were able to save it with contact cleaner, a great playing guitar with a nice resonant body, the neck pickup cover had warped a bit during storage which caused the Formvar windings to break so Swedish pickup guru Johan Lundgren was asked to rewind this pickup, and now it is handwound with vintage correct wire to exactly replicate the original readings.
